Before Google needs to dip into its large cash reserves for the upcoming YouTube copyright law suits, it is going to be spending some serious money on installing the largest solar powered array. The move will generate the same electricity that would power around 1,000 Californian homes (or 5,000 European homes?).
They claim this will be enough for about a 1/3 of their electricity requirements. Although, where is this going to end? Google is famed for trialing out new products on its own employees before releasing to the world at large. Google Power anyone?
