Santa is bringing us Open Source Java

Little Johnny: All I want for Christmas mummy, is Java ... oh and make sure its open source, you know how I like to fiddle with things.
Mummy: Sure thing darling, that terribly nice man Mr Schwartz has said it will be ready.
Its true all you open source watchers, Sun's CEO has stated at OracleWorld that Java will be open sourced under the OSI license and be ready within 30 to 60 days, taking us nicely up to Christmas. Still a little light on actual details in terms of the logistics of their testing suites, committers, etc, but the good news its a coming.
