LinuxWorld is reporting that Novell has cemented its moved into India by acquiring a 50% stack in its partner company over there. Novell has been active in the Indian continent of late as well as deep penetration in China.

Steve Friedl has written a good guide to IPSec, which is a suite of protocols for securing network connections. He goes through the complete gambit, accompanied with illustrations and arrows pointing to various bits! If you're bored and fancy a good read and want to sound intelligent at the lunch time table today then check it out.

Last week I highlighted toys for the golfing community. Well this week, Engadget are reporting another one, but this one has the purist golfers throwing their tee's out of their prams. Using GPS technology they can tell exactly how far away from the pin you are and the elevation. Although not quite sure how that helps you that much. I already know I have to get the wee ball in the wee hole; and armed with that information alone hasn't helped so far!

The Mail&Guardian, a constant source for those type stories you always hear the likes of David Letterman talk about. For example, did you know there was a World Toilet Organization (WTO)? So now armed with that information, did you know that Singapore will be hosting the first advanced training course for toilet cleaners? I can't believe it. I had always hoped that if this computer milarky didn't pan out, I could literally clean said pan! Shaping up that I won't even be qualified for that!

Traditionalists are pushing for a ban on the £249 device which will be available to consumers starting next month, contending that the system essentially amounts to cheating.

Singapore to host world's first loo college

The world's first toilet college is to open in Singapore to teach cleaners how to improve their lavatory-washing skills, according to local broadcaster Channel NewsAsia. The first batch of 30 students from a local cleaning company will start their training at the Toilet College in October, it said on its website.
