[SpikeWed] ActiveMQ released, Voice of Green Giant dies, anyone seen my tiara?
ActiveMQ have released version 3.2 of their messaging platform. The interesting nugget here is the improved support for Stomp to allow for a great number of languages to participate seamlessly on the message queue. Support for C, C#, Ruby, Perl, Python, Pike (and Java naturally) are already provided. They have also declared their support for OpenRico as their default AJAX library.
Who is going to tell us to eat our greens now that the booming voice of the Green Giant has passed on to that big garden in the sky? Elmer Dresslar died at the age of 80 after losing his fight to cancer sadly. His daughter said that her father never tired of the ho ho ho moniker and was quite happy to be put through college on the strength of it.
So picture the scene. You've got yourself all dolled up for a fancy do down at the palace, but for the life of you, you just can't put your hands on your tiara. You know you had it just last week, and no matter how many drawers you pull out, the damn thing isn't turning up. Fortunately though, if your mother-in-law is the Queen then you can simply tap on ma'ams shoulder and blag one for the evening.
